A midge is any small fly which are found predominantly in summer, and around sewage. They are grey-ish and about 2mm long. Midges can be deterred with simple things like repellent or anti-fly candles. However, heavy indoor infestations may not be possible to get rid of alone, and they can bring larger risks such as diseases and bacteria, because of their nature to be attracted to sewage.
